• Jockey: Jason Holder – Celebrate Jason's achievement as Strathalbyn Racing Club's Champion Jockey for the 2025–26 season, awarded for the highest number of points and race wins. Jason will share his journey and the experiences that have shaped his successful riding career.

• Trainer: Andrew Gluyas – Recognised as Strathalbyn Racing Club's Champion Trainer for the 2025–26 season, Andrew will discuss his career in racing, the dedication required to train winners, and the keys to his success.

• Emma Doudle (wife of Trainer Travis Doudle) and Allison Smith, CEO of Cystic Fibrosis South Australia, will present on the impact of cystic fibrosis, the importance of raising awareness, and the vital role fundraising plays in supporting those living with the condition. There will be lots of raffle prizes to Win at the lunch to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis.

Join us on Wednesday, 26th August for our first meeting of the Strathalbyn Race Club calendar The Field of Fortune Race Day.

Gates open from 12:30pm, with a fantastic afternoon of country racing, great food and plenty of excitement. Upon arrival, members will be randomly allocated a horse, giving everyone a runner to cheer home and the chance to claim bragging rights if their horse crosses the line first.

With food trucks serving delicious meals, bars open throughout the day and a lively social atmosphere, Field of Fortune Race Day is the perfect opportunity to gather with friends, enjoy a day at the races and test your luck.
